Dr. James G. Case
Dr. Jim Case was born in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Butler Township as a child. He graduated as class Valedictorian from Vandalia-Butler High School in 1968. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Northwestern University in 1972 and pursued graduate studies and taught at the University of Kentucky. In 1976, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Ohio State University. In 1987, Dr. Case completed a two-year post-doctoral Residency in General Dentistry.
Dr. Case is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Western Ohio Dental Society. He has completed post-graduate training in all the specialties of dentistry and his 30 plus years of experience enable him to provide comprehensive care for even the most complex cases. He has extensive experience in aesthetic, as well as restorative dentistry, and truly enjoys enhancing the smiles and lives of his patients.
Jim has been married to his wife Cheryl for over twenty years. They enjoy traveling and have visited over twenty countries. They also enjoy sports, music, theater and spending time with friends and family.
Our Staff
Kim Hagan – Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Kim has worked with Dr. Case for 9 years. Kim started out as a dental assistant in 1998 and attended Sinclair Community College for her E.F.D.A.
Kim has been married to her husband for 6 years. Kim has 3 children, Lacey 16, Daniel 13, and Michael 3. Pets include 2 mules, 3 dogs, and a cat. Kim enjoys painting, sewing, horseback riding, reading, and stainglass.
Kim enjoys dentistry because she loves people and working with her hands.
Donna Casto – Chairside Assistant / Receptionist
Donna has been with Dr. Case for 3 years. Donna started in the dental field in 1987 and is licensed in Dental Radiography.
Donna has been married to her husband Mike of 30+ years. They have 3 married sons and their wives: Nathan & Jill, Trevor & Heather, and Derek & Abby. Donna has 5 grandchildren with more on the way. Her passions are for God, family and organizing events. Donna enjoys working with people and making them feel at ease and helping them with their scheduling, billing, and insurance needs. Donna looks forward to meeting with you as an integral member of the dental team.
Mindy Buechler – Business Manager
Mindy has been with Dr. Case for 9 years. Mindy started out as a receptionist in the dental field in 1998 Mindy is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties, including, treatment coordination, financial business, patient appointments, receptionist duties and staff management.
Mindy has been married to her husband Jared for 4 years and she has 2 daughters, Madison and Lauren and 3 kittens named Zoey,Marley and Piper. In her free time Mindy enjoys Digi Scrapping and hanging out with her family.
Deidre Stammen – Dental Hygienist
Deidre has been with Dr. Case since 2004. She has been a licensed dental hygienist since 1998. She is a graduate of Sinclair Community College, where she graduated with honors. She enjoys working with patients and staff at Dr. Case’s office.
Deidre has been married to her husband Jay for 12 years and they have three children, Bailey, Reece and Garrett. She enjoys spending time with her family and working out.
Jody Strayer - Dental Hygienist / Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Jody has been with Dr. Case since 2000. She graduated with honors from Sinclair Community College in 1996. In 1998 and 1999 she returned to Sinclair Community College to earn her certificate as an E.F.D.A. Jody truly enjoys working with all age groups. She finds satisfaction helping people who have fears coming to the dentist feel at ease and those who haven’t been to the dentist in a long time smile again with confidence.
Jody has been married to Richard for 9 years and they have two boys, Jacob 8 and Braiden 6. She enjoys reading, bible studies and spending time with her family, and watching her children play sports.
Buffie Apple – Chairside Assistant
Buffie has been with Dr. Case for 3 years. Buffie has been in the dental field for 5 years. Buffie enjoys working with people. Buffie also shows extra attention to children with fears and helps to keep them calm. She loves helping people overcome their fears and build their self-confidence.
Buffie has been married to her husband for 11 years. Buffie has 3 children Rochele, Brandon and Bryant. Buffie enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and bird watching.
